2023 Donor Campaign for the Essie B. King ‘Love In Action’ Community Service Award Scholarship Endowment Fund.

In celebration of my mom’s life and the servant leadership she personified, I am officially launching the 2023 Donor Campaign for the Essie B. King ‘Love In Action’ Community Service Award Scholarship Endowment Fund.

If you were fortunate to have met her, then you knew her love. If you witnessed my caring giving journey, then you knew my love and commitment to her.

Help me continue her legacy by inspiring and supporting the education of youth who commit to serve their local communities in a big way.

Our goal is $50K by year end and we have already raised $15K.

Volcano Has Erupted on the Island of St. Vincet - Taiwo Foundation Mobilizes Support

In support of the resilient people of St. Vincent, the Taiwo Foundation is leading an Emergency Relief Project to get much needed funds and supplies to the island. We are working directly with the Ministry of Mobilization and the NY Consulate to finalize logistics. You can, however, make (tax deductible) monetary donations now. Please support the relief and restoration efforts today!.

We Are Almost To Our Goal!

Kicking off the Taiwo Foundation Fall Fundraiser 2020!

In celebration of our President Debra Taiwo’s 55th birthday, our goal is to raise at least $5,500.00 during the month of September. We ask that you make a tax deductible donation of one the following (or anything in between):

$ 55.00 X 100+ donors

$ 550.00 X 10+ donors

$5500.00. X 1+ donors

The mission of the Taiwo Foundation is to empower youth worldwide to effect meaningful change in their communities.

To combat the cultural norms that encourage violence such as domestic and child sex abuse, we engage youth in sports, service, education, and leadership development projects that equip them to drive social change in their communities.

IT DOESN’T STOP THERE!

For the past few months, Taiwo Foundation has been busy purchasing soccer uniforms and balls; collecting donated shoes; and arranging shipment of four barrels of gear to St. Vincent last week. We even brought Lawrence out of retirement from athletic retail (he owned Soccer World in the 90’s) to screen print logos and numbers on uniforms and T-shirts. As the proud sponsors of Blossom Unlimited FC & Academy, we ensure the 300+ players, ranging in ages from 5 to our senior group of men and women, have what they need to freely participate in club soccer.
